MARÍA DEL MAR ÁLVAREZ DORTA
Mª del Mar has a Law degree from the University of Navarra (1993). She has furthered her training with a Master’s Degree in Business Legal Consulting from the Instituto deEmpresa (1995) and a specialisation course in civil-mercantile mediation from the Universidad San Pablo CEU (2014), as well as various courses and refresher courses inher areas of practice.
A practising lawyer since 1995, she specialises mainly in the areas of administrative law(with special dedication to urban planning and public sector contracts) and commercial law, covering both procedural practice and advising on contracting, agreements, and actions taken by commercial companies and associations.
CAROLINA ROMÁN MONTOTO
Carolina is a Law graduate at the University of La Laguna (1998), and completed aMaster in European Studies at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) in 1999.She also furthered her studies during the time she taught in the Doctorate Programme “The problems of adaptation and development of Community Law in the Spanish legal system” at the UNED (2002-2003). She also carried out the specialisation Course in civil-commercial mediation by the San Pablo CEU University (2014) and the expertCourse as a Compliance Officer, directed by Xavier Rivas (Aranzadi Publishing House; 2016), and most recently the Specialization Program in Digital Law & Legal Tech at CUNEF University (2022).
A practising lawyer since 1999, she specialises in civil and commercial law, covering both procedural practice and advising on such matters mainly to companies, but also to individuals. She also has extensive experience in bankruptcy law and refinancing for companies, having handled multiple insolvency proceedings since the entry into force of the Insolvency Law, as well as in the development and implementation of regulatory compliance plans and legal tech.
She has given several lectures for entities such as the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and FEMETE.
She speaks both English and French.
PILAR VALLADARES SALMERÓN
Pilar holds a Law degree from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), specialising in Corporate Legal Consultancy (E-1) (1997). She also completed aMaster’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy at the Instituto de Empresa (1998). She has complemented her training with various courses and conferences; among them were the Course of specialisation in civil-commercial mediation by the San Pablo CEU University (2014) and the expert Course as a Compliance Officer, directed by XavierRivas (Aranzadi Publishing House; 2016).
Pilar has been practising law since 1999, being specialised in civil and commercial law, covering both procedural practice and advising in such matters to both companies and individuals, and also in the field of the preparation and implementation of Regulatory Compliance Plans.
